This ornate design was created for proposed dinnerware for the Ocean Forest Hotel dining room, featuring the hotel itself at the center of the service plate.

The Ocean Forest Hotel was once one of Myrtle Beach’s most iconic landmarks, and details like this give us a glimpse into the elegance and care that went into every part of the guest experience.

A Myrtle Beach Landmark: 1930–1974 🏨🌊

The Ocean Forest Hotel was once one of Myrtle Beach’s most unforgettable landmarks. Opened in 1930, this impressive 10-story hotel with 202 guest rooms stood proudly along the Grand Strand for more than four decades.

Today, its story still feels like an important part of Myrtle Beach history — and we’re proud to help keep that history alive at Carolina Seafood & Steak.
