🚨 UPDATE-SOME ORDERS WILL CON’T🚨

First, I want to sincerely apologize again to everyone whose orders were directly affected by my accident, especially during this first week of recovery. I know how much planning goes into your special celebrations, and I truly appreciate the grace and understanding you have shown us as it has taken everyone to assist me in the last few days.

I also wanted to share a little update on my recovery and what that means for Homebase moving forward.

For those who don’t know, I had a freak accident that resulted in breaking my back in two places. I have since been discharged from the hospital, but I am still relying on a walker to get around. Needless to say, balloons are completely out of the question for me right now! 🎈

BUT, we do have some good news! ❤️

Many of you know that Jael has been practicing and working alongside me for quite some time now, and she has become pretty good at creating our traditional balloon designs! With Micah’s help, Jael will be able to continue accepting and fulfilling select Homebase orders, including:

🎈 Standard residential balloon arches
🎈 Balloon columns
🎈 Number stacks
🎈 Helium balloon bouquets

What we will NOT be taking on during my recovery:

At this time, we are not comfortable accepting large corporate installations or events where the size and complexity of the setup could present safety concerns. We will also be stepping away from highly detailed, custom designs that require my direct involvement until I am back on my proverbial feet!

Even during this temporary adjustment, our commitment to providing beautiful balloons, quality work, and safe installations remains the same. We would rather be upfront about what we can confidently deliver than compromise the standards we’ve worked so hard to establish.

Now, on a personal note… ❤️

You all are truly some of the best people I know. The kindness, understanding, messages, prayers, and encouragement we have received have meant more to me than I can put into words. Homebase has absolutely felt the love, and so have I.

To everyone who has reached out, offered help, shown grace, or simply given us the space to navigate this unexpected chapter, THANK YOU!

This certainly wasn’t how I planned to spend the next several weeks, but I am grateful that Homebase can continue bringing a little joy to your celebrations while I focus on healing.

I cannot wait to get back and personally celebrate life’s special moments with you again!

PLEASE READ🚨🚨🚨 An Important Update from Homebase

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but due to an unexpected accident, we will need to cancel and issue full refunds for all orders scheduled over the next 4–6 weeks, especially sorry for the immediate orders scheduled for this weekend.

Unfortunately, my injuries will prevent me from physically fulfilling orders during this time. Given the extent of my recovery, I am also unsure whether I would be able to provide the hands-on guidance and supervision needed for my girls to complete orders in my absence.

This was not an easy decision, but we never want to compromise the quality, care, and attention to detail that our customers have come to expect from Homebase.

We truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support as I focus on healing and recovery. We look forward to getting back to creating for you as soon as we are able.
