🟦 **CombatSync – Community Feedback Wanted** 🟦

We’re building **CombatSync** with direct input from the people who actually play, lead, and run games.

If you’re a:

- Player
- Team member or captain
- Organizer
- Field staff or owner

—we want to hear from you.

This short questionnaire focuses on **real game-day experience**:

- Where confusion happens
- What slows events down
- What players complain about most
- What actually works (and what doesn’t)

Your feedback helps shape:

✔️ Gameplay clarity

✔️ Objectives & timing

✔️ Communication

✔️ Overall event flow (scenario, MagFed, organized play)

📌 **This is feedback only** — not a signup, not a commitment, and not a guarantee of access.

We have a questionnaire to be filled out which will helpus greatly

Thanks to everyone helping push the sport forward by sharing real, honest input!

’ve been playing paintball for over 20 years.

In that time, I’ve seen a lot of great moments — and a lot of the same problems repeat themselves year after year.

Confusion.

Broken communication.

Players not knowing what’s happening, where to go, or who’s actually in charge once the briefing ends.

Let’s be honest about it:

This isn’t just a producer problem.

It isn’t just a field problem.

And it isn’t just a player problem.

It’s a **community problem** — and we’ve all learned to live with it.

I’ve been to countless events where:

- Players don’t know who holds which objective
- Nobody knows the current score
- Flags are captured but the information never reaches the field
- Walk-ons have no idea what to do or where to go
- Generals exist… until you actually need them
- Comms are scattered, uncoordinated, or nonexistent
- The one “radio guy” gets chased all day for answers

Most of the time, I end up filling that role myself — configuring radios, relaying info, trying to make order out of chaos. And eventually you step back and think:

**Why is this still this messy?**

There *are* apps and systems out there. I’m not pretending otherwise.

But none of them go deep enough to actually solve the root problems on the field — in real time — for players, squads, generals, and producers *together*.

That’s why I’m building **CombatSync**.

CombatSync exists to bring clarity where there’s always been confusion.

At its core, CombatSync is about:

- Knowing **who your general is** — and how to reach command
- Seeing **live objectives**, completed and active
- Knowing **who’s on the field and who’s off**
- Eliminating radio guesswork for basic game-state information
- Giving players a way to log in on their phone and actually know what’s happening
- Making walk-ons part of a squad, not lost bodies wandering the field
- Turning casual players into invested players through better experiences
- Streamlining registration, roles, squads, and mission flow
- Supporting off-grid gameplay, GPS-based objectives, and structured command

Ask yourself this:

Why shouldn’t a player be able to pull out their phone and see:

- What objectives are live
- What’s been completed
- Where they’re needed
- What the score is
- Who’s in charge

Instead of chasing someone down and hoping they know.

Paintball has always been about camaraderie — getting out of the house, breaking away from the daily grind, being with your people, and sharing something that actually feels real.

CombatSync isn’t here to change that culture.

It’s here to **support it**, protect it, and help it grow.

This project is long overdue.

And it only works if the community helps shape it.

I’m asking for open minds, honest feedback, and participation.

Not hype. Not blind praise. Just engagement.

Because at the end of the day, what do we really lose by trying to do this better — together?

Thanks for being here.

More to come.

CombatSync Update v0.2 — Phase 1 Systems Foundation

Progress continues as we solidify the core systems that make CombatSync work on game day. Phase 1 is focused on the fundamentals—clean event registration, reliable player check-in, role-based dashboards for players and command staff, and a communications dashboard designed to reduce chaos in the field. The goal is simple: give players the information they need, streamline coordination between squads and command, and remove unnecessary friction before the first whistle blows. We’re building this deliberately, testing as we go, and keeping the focus on real-world field use. More to come as Phase 1 continues to mature.

CombatSync Player Check-In System — Development Update
Quick development update on CombatSync.

Work is underway on the Player Check-In System, focused on improving how players are processed on game day and reducing friction during event setup.

This part of the platform is being designed to:
- Support faster, more controlled check-ins
- Give staff clear visibility into player status
- Improve overall event flow before games begin
- The emphasis right now is on structure, reliability, and scalability — making sure this system works smoothly for staff and events of different sizes before moving on to additional layers.

Still in development. More updates to come as progress continues.

Quick CombatSync update 👇

Phase 1 is moving along, with a strong focus on getting the foundation right. This is the part most people never see — but it’s what makes everything actually work on game day.

Here’s where things are at right now:
• Core Systems Built with fields first, not just players — structure before flash.

• Player Registration – ~70% Complete
Faster check-ins, less confusion, cleaner data for staff.

• Admin Portal
Coming together as the main event control center.

• Role System (Finalizing)
– Admins: Run and control the event
– Generals: Manage teams & objectives
– Operators (Players): Clear, usable info on the field

Phase 1 isn’t about flashy features — it’s about structure, control, and making large scenario games run smoother instead of chaotic.

More progress soon. Appreciate everyone following along while this gets built the right way.

I’ve been playing paintball for over 20 years, and one of the biggest frustrations at large scenario and milsim events has always been the lack of clarity.

How many times have you asked what the score is, what the current mission is, or what’s actually happening on the field—only to get delayed answers or no answer at all?

That breakdown hurts morale, slows the game down, and creates unnecessary confusion for players who just want to play and compete with purpose.

CombatSync is being built to help solve that problem by giving players, team leaders, and event staff real-time visibility into scores, missions, and game flow—directly on their phones.

This project is being built for the community, and I’m actively looking for feedback on features, ideas, and improvements that can help modernize how large events are run and experienced.

My goal is simple: help grow the sport by bringing better structure, transparency, and modern tools to scenario and milsim paintball—without taking away what makes the game great.

If you’ve experienced these frustrations before, your input matters.

Scenario and milsim games are meant to be organized, clear, and fair for everyone on the field.

CombatSync is a tactical event coordination platform currently in development, built for large-scale scenario and milsim events.

We’re building tools like GPS-based player and squad tracking, Mission Control for objectives and briefings, integrated communications, and live event scoring and updates—so players, team leaders, and event staff can see what’s happening on the field in real time.

Our focus is clarity, transparency, and structure—so every player understands the mission, the score, and the flow of the game.

This project is actively being built, tested, and refined, and we’ll be sharing progress as development continues.
