Sometimes the best way to answer a rumor is simply by showing the truth.

Today I made a small two-layer 6" white cake from start to finish and recorded the entire process. Every step — measuring the ingredients, mixing the batter, baking the layers, filling the cake, and finishing it — all done the old-fashioned way.

This one was a white cake with strawberry glaze filling, whipped topping, and fresh strawberries on top. Simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

At Gravely Family Bakery, we take pride in creating cakes that are moist, balanced, and made with care. Baking from scratch takes time, patience, and dedication, but it’s something we believe in strongly.
