It has been a while since I posted on this page but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy in the kitchen! This is how you know a whole lot of baking is goin' down today! All this butter makes beautiful croissants. These are now available in Jewel's Kitchen in multiple flavor combinations. Stay tuned for pictures of blueberry cream cheese croissant danishes!

Jewel's Kitchen is closed until February 2024. Thanks to all who have supported my small venture! From purchases to shares, nothing was unnoticed. Be on the lookout for a requested Ladies' Brunch in February.
Also, I'm looking for ways to better meet your needs. What would you like to see in the new year? I'm thinking of adding gluten free and sugar free (keto) options. Would this interest anyone? Open to any ideas!

Growing up I loved going to friends' houses who had hot pockets in the freezer! 🤣 We never had them and my kiddos now rarely get them because they are expensive. Well, right now, Piggly Wiggly has 20ct hot pockets for $8.90 so they are about $10 after their 10% fee. Best believe I stocked up and my kids think I'm supermom. Do I know where Piggly Wiggly gets their good deals from? Nope, and I'm not asking questions. We are just over hear enjoying some good ol' processed food for cheap! 🤪

Thanksgiving baking is coming to an end. My brother makes our Thanksgiving desserts so I fulfilled all my baking desires while baking for you all. Thanks to those who ordered and shared my posts. Looking forward to Christmas baking for you all! In the meantime, I can still meet any of your baking needs including birthday cakes. Check out that heart cake with whipped cream frosting I made this week. Whipped frosting is my favorite and I look forward to learning how to better work with it to make it just as beautiful as it is delicious. Thanks again and HAPPY THANKSGIVING! May your family make many memories while thanking our Lord for all He has done for us.

There are a lot of desserts out in the world nowadays, but few hold as much nostalgia and deliciousness as this one. The chocolate layered cake has been around for many years and will be for years to come. We may think we are getting smarter from generation to generation, but when it comes to food, sorry millennials....our ancestors had us beat with little to no technology!
