Now that they have finally announced their elopement to friends and family, I can finally share the real reason I went to New Zealand back in December. N+G picked one of the most beautiful places on earth to elope. We took a helicopter up to Coromandel Peak which offered stunning views of Lake Wanaka. After their gorgeous ceremony, we celebrated by hopping on a short cruise around the lake and ended the evening with a beautiful sunset at Lake Hawea. This was by far one of the greatest experiences of my life. When N+G reached out and we started discussing their plans to elope in New Zealand, it was hard to fathom that this was real life. All I could think about, was 14 year old me (who would quote Legolas and Gimli with her best friend) would be absolutely beside herself if she knew I got the chance to go to NZ. Not a day goes by that I'm not completely in awe of the fact that this is my job. I am so incredibly grateful for each of my couples and the amazing experiences I've had the chance of encountering along the way.
