Hey there! Growing up, my cousins and I always knew our great-great-grandma was full-blood Cherokee, and that’s always stuck with me.

Maybe that’s why I’m drawn to feathers—or maybe it’s because no two are ever exactly the same. Maybe it’s a little of both… and a few other reasons too.

The 4th of July is just around the corner! 🇺🇸
It’s always been one of my favorite holidays—so many memories over the years. When I was younger, my family would climb onto the roof of our house to watch fireworks light up the sky from a park about a mile away.

Last year, I was in Colorado and got to experience the fireworks with the Rocky Mountains in the background—about an hour after everyone back in Oklahoma had their show! It was breathtaking.
