They have the best food and goods! Lots of organic options and sourced from local farmers.

This morning I harvested a few jalapeño peppers, one Anaheim pepper and my first chocolate cherry tomato of the season.

I’ve been plucking off some of those tiny sweetie cherries as I walk by, but this choc cherry was nearly the size of a golf ball and a much more substantial treat.

I went inside the house and ate the most crunchy, flavorful jalapeño ever and savored the two bites of that tomato.

Dang they were good! Can’t wait for more!

It’s lisianthus season!
Most specialty flowers bloom during a short window of time, so you gotta get in on them at their actual peak season. Yall know that’s how we grow things around here. Truly local. True to season.

They have an insane vase life too!

Lisianthus (commonly known as Texas Bluebell) are one of our most premium flowers of the summer season. I grew 2 varieties this year: celeb 2 lovely pink (more of a purple-pink) and voyage 2 champagne.

2027, I’m expanding my lisi growing and giving other varieties the axe. It’s all about curating… especially as a micro grower.

Let me know in the comments if you’d be interested in growing your own lisianthus? These are an 8-month seed-to-bloom crop so they do require some patience but they do so well in our climate!! They’re a Texas native after all!
