Trying my hand at something new out here—rooting heirloom mum cuttings for the very first time! I’ve never done this with mums before, so I’m just crossing my fingers, saying a little prayer, and hoping these babies take root. If they do, I might have some extras to share soon so yall have them blooming at your home this fall!

I’m especially excited about some of these varieties—Seaton’s Coffee, Purple Light, Apricot Alexis, and Mocha, just to name a few. They’re old-school beauties with serious charm, and I can’t wait to see them bloom.

Stay tuned for updates, y’all—I’ll let you know how it goes!

✨Customer Feature✨
Look at these beauties!

One of my sweet customers sent me these photos of the tomato plants she bought from me at the farmers market last month—and wow, are they thriving! She got them potted up and gave them a cozy spot on the patio, and they’re loving life.

This is your reminder: you don’t need a big garden to grow something rewarding. Whether you’ve got a backyard, a balcony, or just a sunny corner, you can grow fresh, homegrown food right in a pot.

Thank you for sharing and for giving these little tomato starts such a great home!

Week 16:
I got hundreds of summer seedlings in the ground. So glad I had time(and space) to get them in there over the weekend.
One of the many challenges of growing on a super small scale is that you have to make sure to leave room for multiple successions of crops and leave space for transitions from one season to the next to have continuous flowers blooming.
I made a crop plan but I’m already at the point of winging it, I’ve already fallen weeks behind schedule on planting and I’m just gonna have to get over it haha. No going back, just grinding away when I can in the evenings and weekends.
With my stock crops not blooming as prolific as I hoped for it’s looking like I’m gonna have a small lull in blooms. The gorgeous spring snapdragons will continue to bloom and I’ll have statice, sweet William, mint, orlaya, scabiosa, Dara and stock.
I’ll be at market with as many bouquets as I can cut most Saturdays. I’ll also plan to keep a steady supply of herbs because y’all love to grow them!!

Let me know if y’all have any questions. I’m happy to answer them - just use the comments section to ask. Thanks!

Take a deep breath…
That cool, crisp scent dancing through your senses? That’s fresh mint—straight from the field and into your bouquet! It’s refreshing, uplifting, and a little bit wild—just how we like it.

We’re tucking stems of this fragrant greenery into this week’s market bouquets to add not just beauty, but an irresistible scent you’ll want to breathe in all day. Come grab yours and get a little whiff of nature’s magic.

We’ll be at our regular spot on Saturday morning:
9am to 12pm
Montgomery Farmers Market
19785 Hwy 105 W, Montgomery, TX 77356
