Behind the Paisley - Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Beth Diaz, owner of Paisley Pop Up Picnic. The name Paisley comes from the Celtic word Passeleg, which means "basilica" or "major church". As a Christian believer, the meaning of "basilica" resonates deeply with me. It is one of my greatest joys to bring people together in community with one another across the table. For as long as I can remember, the table has been a sacred space—a place where friends and family come together to share stories, meals and moments that linger long after the plates are cleared. As a happily married pastor's wife of 27 years, mother to three wonderful married adult children, and dog mom to our Cane Corso, Rayne, building relationships with people is my passion. Whether it’s around our own table or one of yours, my goal is to help create warm, memorable experiences that bring people closer together.
