While many of us have been staying home due to icy roads, etc, it reminds us that even when we're home cooking for ourselves we might make a little extra to share with a neighbor. We can share directly with a senior neighbor or a single mom or Fresh Hope is happy to distribute. Did you know that Fresh Hope will happily provide you with a foil pan and some ingredients that you can prepare at home and bring back to us for distribution to our Davie neighbors in need? Just one more simple way we can all make a difference!

Hi neighbors, we have some salad mixes, lettuce and a few other items which have been donated and we'd like to offer them to the community. We'll be at Smith Grove United Methodist Church on 158 in Farmington tomorrow at 11a.m. Please come by if you or a neighbor can use some! We'll be there till noon or until supplies run out.

We can't say enough about the great people at WR Vernon Produce! They donate as much as they can to Fresh Hope and other organizations and their employees are just top-notch! We've known Skip for years and he is a master packer! Look at all that produce he got in that van! :-) Lots of healthy food for our Davie County neighbors and service with a smile! :-)

Friends, at Fresh Hope every week we fill up these pans to give to our neighbors who are experiencing food insecurity. Do you think you could fill up one of these pans with delicious food? Just one pan can feed a family. You can do it at home or you can come join us in the kitchen at Smith Grove United Methodist Church where we cook the meals.
Would you prefer doing donation pickups at a grocery store? Those opportunities are available too! Volunteering to serve our neighbors is incredibly gratifying and really makes a difference in the community.

Homemade creamed spinach made with fresh spinach donated by our good friends at WR Vernon Produce with other ingredients donated by our good friends at Lowe's Foods Bermuda Run. A delicious egg casserole made with love for our friends in Mocksville. It was made in our lovely new location in the kitchen at Smith Grove United Methodist Church! We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with others in the community to serve our neighbors.

Is there anything more refreshing than fresh fruit on a hot summer day? 🍍🍎🍑🍊🍒🍇Thanks to our friends at WR Vernon produce once again for an amazing array of fruits that went into making a beautiful fruit salad for all of our friends experiencing food insecurity in Davie county yesterday! They also provided a wonderful supply of corn, something that will be greatly enjoyed by many for July 4th! Happy Holiday weekend everyone! 🇺🇸
