Choosing to elope means you can do anything… LIKE HAVE A CAMEL AT YOUR WEDDING!!

Your wedding day isn’t just about photographing picture perfect memories to hang up on your wall and print in a photo album. Your wedding is a reflection of your relationship.

You will have moments in your day to relax, enjoy the adventure, and focus on the little details you’ve spent months planning for.

But what matters most is THIS IS YOUR DAY. This is your time to not give a care on what anyone thinks.

Accidents happen. But it’s the joy of the adventure!

Our amazing guide, Colton, warned me about getting my hair caught in the grigri. The wind happened to pick up my hair as I was untying the safety knot and tied around the rope and into my rappelling gear.

I hung out (literally) for a few minutes until Colton was able to safely get my couple on the ground so he can rappel down to lift me out.

Even with my hair getting caught, this was such a fun experience and major lesson learned (I’m putting my hair in a beanie next time) and I cannot wait to do it again!!!

Who wants to go rock climbing or rappelling with me? I promise this won’t happen on your wedding day 😂

My hair got caught in my gear photographing a rappelling wedding (see previous posts).

When it comes to eloping, you have to prepare for anything that comes your way. For me, it was untying a safety knot and the rope caught my hair and kept me safe from falling *sarcasm*. But it honestly was a lot of fun just hanging out waiting for our guide to rescue me.

I have more BTS I’ll share in the future! Cannot wait to go rappelling again! I’ll pass on getting my hair caught in the grigri 😂

A little snow doesn’t hurt anyone. It only makes your portraits look more awesome 🤍

When planning Hannah & Cameron’s day we were expecting warm weather and sunny sky, not a cold and unexpected rainstorm that turned into snow.

But we made the most of it, brought extra jackets, and had so much fun!

Hey, I’m Kelcee 📸

It’s been a while since I’ve shared about myself so here’s a few fun facts:

✈️ I’m not afraid of heights (hence the endless rock climbing and standing on edges in my stories) but I am afraid to jump out of an airplane.
💭 My lifelong dream is to go swimming with sharks and to be a stormtrooper.
💄 I originally was going to attend school in California to become a SFX Makeup Artist for tv & film but ditched that dream because I didnt want to live in LA.
🧢 I dyed my hair blue with cool-aid when I turned 18 and it stained my hair for 3 years.
🐾 I owned 10 animals at one point in my life. I took photos of them as they got older and that’s what started my love for photography.
🍩 Bread and donuts are my favorite food (in case you didn’t know).

I’m based in Sedona, Arizona and travel to Moab and PNW during the spring and summer and have limited travel dates left for 2025!!!

Sunset at Merry Go Round Rock never disappoints.

October is my favorite time to explore this spot in Sedona because the sun hits PERFECTLY for the iconic hole photo. The lighting in general is always perfect for your portraits!

This location can be busy because of how popular the sunset platform photo is, so I always recommend to my couples planning an elopement to share their private vows or plan a ceremony at a separate location. But it is a perfect portrait spot if you don’t mind other eloping couples or tourists enjoying the area too.

P.S - The song choice is because we were listening to Tool the whole drive and hike up to this location and it was a JAM 🎵

What better way to celebrate your marriage than shredding down the slope on fresh snow?!

Haley & Tristian chose to celebrate their marriage the same way they love spending their winters together - on the mountain.

They got ready at the cutest Airbnb, private vows, an intimate ceremony with their close family, and of course snowboarding!

No rush. No rules. Just joy, laughter, and a lot of snow.

Your elopement didn’t have to follow a script. It can look like your favorite season, your favorite place, and the things you already love doing together.. Or, why not try something new?

I still have 1 more last minute Winter date available for 2026 and a few more spots for 2027 snowboarding season!

Canyonlands National Park is one of many beautiful places to explore for sunset newlywed portraits in Moab.

Standing at the edge of the canyon and watching the light change, it’s easy to forget about everything around you and truly enjoy your wedding day.
