MINNEAPOLIS IN DEPTH

There’s a certain rhythm to the North Loop—equal parts energy and ease. It’s found in long conversations over a glass of wine, afternoons that stretch a little longer than planned, and the welcoming hum of the Hewing Hotel lobby.

“The Hewing Hotel lobby really feels like the living room of the North Loop. It’s a place to gather, to play, and to settle in, even if just for a moment.”— David Kisan, Founder of Sip N Bloom

Inspired by that spirit of connection, and have partnered to create Gather & Graze, a seasonal experience designed to celebrate the art of slowing down. A thoughtfully styled grazing board featuring fresh local produce and edible flowers invites guests to linger over the details, whether enjoyed in the comfort of a guest room or tucked into a corner of the Tullibee Lounge.

Paired with Minneapolis craft beer or Hewing label wine, Gather & Graze is more than a welcome amenity—it’s an invitation to experience the city the way locals do: unhurried, intentional, and deeply rooted in community.

Because sometimes the best way to discover Minneapolis is to simply settle in.

Sometimes you have to throw yourself fully into something simply because it feeds your soul. Today was one of those days.

The morning began with a classic at , but after the workshop wrapped we still had buckets of leftover flowers, so I texted to see if she could use them for her Art-A-Whirl installation at .

And from there… the day just unfolded beautifully.

Time spent bonding with an artist I’ve admired for years. Meeting her clients, friends, collaborators, and wandering neighboring studios talking shop, creativity, life, and dreaming up future ideas. We even started brainstorming a collaboration with which honestly feels wildly exciting.

As the dust of the day settled (and yes… the crocodile), we started packing things up for the night. But then creativity sparked again and we both looked at each other like… “one more shot?”

And naturally one turned into two because we were having way too much fun creating together.

Sitting for Shelly feels like a huge deal to me. She has such a prolific viewpoint and somehow manages to make you feel ethereal, cinematic, romantic, and slightly otherworldly all at once. That’s what kept drawing me back into her studio today. That feeling of pure creation. Pure beauty.

These images genuinely take my breath away. It feels like I’m some florist from another lifetime standing near a stormy Viking sea selling flowers, potions, and possibly casting spells on my enemies. Which honestly feels on brand.

How special it is to create with the real deal. Thank you friend for opening your world to me today. I left feeling very inspired, very grateful, and very creatively full.

And if you haven’t experienced Art-A-Whirl yet, tomorrow is your last chance to catch ’s mini photo sessions at from 12–5 PM. I truly could not recommend it more. ✨

First Art-A-Whirl weekend and now I fully understand why people are obsessed with this thing. Have you been!? It’s amazing. Nearly all of Northeast transforms into this massive street festival centered around art, music, old warehouse spaces, random pop-ups, and pure creative chaos. The whole area around , , and just comes alive.

Got to spend the day running around with this motley crew and honestly they made an already beautiful experience even better. Everyone was genuinely excited to explore, discover weird little corners, and chase whatever music or art installation we stumbled upon next.

Two major highlights:

1. has the coolest interactive photo experience I’ve ever seen tucked inside the building (Saturday 12–8 and Sunday 12–5). Truly one of those “wait… this exists?” moments. Bucket list item officially checked: becoming the subject in a Shelly Mosman. How flipping cool is this!? There’s a QR code in the second image and you absolutely should scan it because this is such a rare and wildly creative experience.

2. Walking home, I stumbled upon what looked like an abandoned storefront that had been transformed into a one-night-only concert. A 10-piece band was absolutely ripping while people drifted in and out from the street. Best part? There was a random hammock hanging in the middle of the crowd. No one was using it, so naturally I climbed in and fully committed to lounging there while the band played around me. It felt like the most perfectly unhinged Minneapolis moment imaginable.

And honestly, I think that’s what Art-A-Whirl is all about. Unexpected fun. Tiny hidden spaces you’d never normally get access to. Following music down an alleyway just to see what’s there. The entire neighborhood feels like one giant creative open house where everyone decided to romanticize life for the weekend.

I’ll see you there after our at ✨

The countdown is officially on!

On May 21, Sip N Bloom and Amy Seeman present GLAMPING — our final Twin Cities runway collaboration before Sip N Bloom begins expanding operations into New York City later this year.

Before we arrive at Everly Farms, we wanted to share a few important things to know before you go.

First and foremost…
This is not a traditional fashion show.

GLAMPING was designed as an immersive runway experience where fashion, florals, music, storytelling, and the spirit of the open road collide beneath the stars. Think elevated campground energy meets editorial fashion fantasy.

Over the last several months, designers, stylists, florists, DJs, lighting teams, photographers, production crews, models, and creative partners have been building this experience from the ground up. Every detail inside the tent has been intentionally crafted to feel transportive, cinematic, and distinctly Sip N Bloom.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

• The runway presentation will take place inside Everly Farms’ outdoor event tent rain or shine. While the tent is covered, we encourage guests to dress thoughtfully for changing evening temperatures and outdoor elements.

• We utilize a guest list for event check-in, so once your ticket order is placed, you are officially set for the evening. In the rare event that we cannot immediately locate your reservation, our team can quickly reference your emailed receipt. We encourage guests to keep their confirmation email accessible on their phones for the smoothest and fastest arrival experience.

• Everly Farms is a stunning 40-acre vineyard and apple orchard. We highly encourage fashionable footwear that can comfortably navigate natural terrain throughout the property. Stilettos and narrow heels are not recommended.

• We encourage guests to make dining reservations at the winery before or after the runway presentation to fully enjoy the evening experience at the property. Food will not be served during the show itself.

• VIP guests may arrive 30 minutes prior to General Admission for first access to seating, sponsor activaons, immersive photo moments, and vendor experiences throughout the venue.

• Please double check event timing prior to arrival:
VIP Doors: 5:30 PM CDT
General Admission Doors: 6:00 PM CDT
Runway Presentation Begins Promptly at 7:00 PM CDT

• Fashion-forward attire is highly encouraged. This is a crowd that shows up beautifully.

Most importantly, we want to acknowledge the businesses and creative partners helping bring this production to life:
PLEASE GIVE THEM A FOLLOW

• .for.you

• And more exciting partners still to come

Experiences like GLAMPING only happen when businesses choose to invest in creativity, culture, fashion, and community. Sponsorship opportunities are still available as we push toward the finish line, and we would love to partner with additional brands looking to align with one of the Twin Cities’ most anticipated creative events of the season.

To everyone who has already secured tickets: thank you. Your RSVP directly supports local artists, designers, florists, stylists, photographers, DJs, and production teams bringing this experience to life.

If you have not reserved your place yet, now is the time. Day-of ticket pricing increases by 50%, and availability is becoming increasingly limited as we approach show week.

May 21 will be emotional, beautiful, celebratory, and unforgettable.

Let’s send this era off properly.

With gratitude,
David Kisan
