I want to give special notice to a film festival that You Can Go Now was selected for earlier this month.
kalakari_filmfest in India may not be the largest or most prestigious of festivals, but they're creative, caring and doing a great job of supporting their local talent. I'm proud we were able to be a part of it from an international perspective and know how many challenges they are currently facing. Regardless, they use film submission fees to feed the hungry. It makes my heart burst to see their hard work and efforts.
Congratulations to their team for all they do.
It's been over a year that this film has been screening in festivals and I continue to be so proud of both it and our cast and crew.
Making its Mexico debut, You Can Go Now will be screening this coming weekend at Every Leaf International Film Festival at Salón Gallos, Merida, Yucatán, May 1-2.
