A little glimpse of the English bridal tea celebrating Kerya a truly stunning bride-to-be at the Fort Atkinson Community Club! 🫖🤍

With its beautiful character and charm, it was such a lovely setting for tea, sweet treats, and a vintage hat bar to add a touch of English elegance.

Sharing my collection of china, teapots, and teacups made bringing this celebration together especially fun! My hope was to create more than a pretty table—a welcoming place to slow down, enjoy one another, and make the bride feel loved. 🤍

What a blessing it was to have my granddaughter by my side helping me with yesterday’s bridal shower. She stepped in wherever she was needed and was such an incredible help and support—I couldn’t have done it without her.

She is also a natural at creating beautiful tablescapes, so being able to give her free rein to make some decisions and watching her was such a joy.

I planned our family picnic for months, and today was finally the day.

The food was ready. The flowers filled big mason jars. Even the “heavy duty” red-and-white checkered paper plates made me smile.

Then the storm rolled in and nearly blew everything away.
Seriously.

By dinner time, the skies had cleared, and our family—nearly 50 strong—gathered.

I had every intention of taking pictures to share here. You know the staged table pics. The ones I actually need for this page…for my business.

But I never took a single one of those.

Instead, I spent the afternoon talking with the people I love, playing picnic bingo with the kids, watching them choose their prizes, laughing, hugging, and being together.

Not one photo.

And you know what? I’m okay with that.

You’ll just have to believe me when I say it was simple, beautiful, and exactly the kind of day we needed.

It’s that time of year when my morning coffee comes with a garden tour.

Each day, coffee in hand, I wander outside to see what’s blooming, admire what’s growing, and encourage the plants that seem to be taking their sweet time.

I’m convinced they grow better with a little sunshine, a little water, and a daily pep talk. 🌸
