Scratch Pies Meet the men behind Scratch Pies. Kevin and Bill both reside in Middletown with their families.

They formed a friendship while watching their sons play hockey & soon realized they had a shared passion for food, especially pizza. Kevin Haeger possesses a diverse background from many years in the hotel, fine dining & corporate food service business. He is a graduate of New York Restaurant School and advanced his career at many New York City institutions such as Fraunces Tavern, Chelsea Central

, The Peninsula Hotel, and several of celebrity Chef David Burke’s locations including The River Cafe, David Burke and Donatella and Fromagerie, in Rumson, NJ. Bill Breen is a Software Engineer who manages several enterprise websites across the US. In his downtime, he loves trying out new dough recipes from bread to bagels and of course artisan pizza dough. Bill has apprenticed at several notable pizza shops, including Razza in Jersey City. Both men grew up in New York surrounded by family, friends, and great food. They appreciate time spent relaxing with loved ones and want to help make your moments special with their pizza ovens and amazing recipes.

Many of you have expressed interest, and we're thrilled to partner with Skinny Flowers Brewing to bring you the freshest Scratch Pies Pizza. Both the Jets and Giants are playing at 1:00, so swing by the brewery, enjoy a refreshing drink, and indulge in some delicious pizza while hanging out with us!!!
