We love to see friends doing big things! Meet Whitney Padote, a Civil Engineer from North Miami Beach, running for Commissioner in the community that raised and made him, from elementary school, to proud graduate of the University of MIami, to now working in government, and giving back.

If you live in North Miami Beach, or have friends and family that do, let them know to check this guy out. We’re rooting for him!

In this friend dial-in, we caught up with fellow baddie business owner, Luly B, to talk about the roller coaster of emotions parents go through when kids graduate and leave the nest. With 2 kids out of the house, she’s not an empty nester, she’s a bird launcher!
