Some of you may not know much about my personal life, as I rarely share it, but my little family at home is just me and my 2 baby dogs Lua, and Tulu. They are my world, my daily companions, flower lovers 🥰 and the ones waiting for me at home after every wedding, event, and long workday.
Right now, my sweet Lua is hospitalized in the ICU fighting a serious medical condition at Kendall Pointe Animal Hospital.. She is not even 7 years old yet, and watching her go through this has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life.
As someone who deeply loves animals, I have always believed they give us unconditional love and deserve the very best from us in return. Right now, I am doing everything possible to give Lua the chance she deserves, but the medical expenses, hospitalization, testing, and treatments are growing quickly and must be paid upfront.
Today, I am facing another heartbreaking reality. If I want Lua to remain hospitalized and continue receiving the monitoring, treatments, and care she needs, I would need to make another payment of nearly $7,000. I never imagined I would be in a position where finances could impact the care I want to provide for her, but emergency veterinary care is incredibly expensive, and the costs add up faster than most people realize.
My only wish right now is to keep fighting for Lua and give her every possible chance to recover.
