WHAT TO EXPECT – THE PROCESS
Thank you so much for your interest in my work! FIRST OF ALL, let me say this: You can expect from me during the process of creating your art high quality, dedication, fun and professionalism. My clients often say how much fun they had during their session and that is exactly what my goal is for you – a photo session that is enjoyable and fun! Before you even consider
me as a photographer I encourage you to check my work to be sure you like my style. Please browse my albums. I want you to hire me because you LOVE my work, not because a 5×7 costs X amount of dollars. Once you decide I am the right photographer for you (which is my hope), together we will start the process of getting you ready for the session. This is when the fun starts! I will want to know what you’re looking for – your specific needs and ideas. We can conduct a consultation in person over a cup of coffee or over the phone. Its up to you how. You will also receive plenty of written information about the session and how to prepare. Beyond selecting the location I personally put a lot of emphasis on the right clothing choices and will make sure we cover this during our consultation. We will set a day and time for your session. My preferred time to photograph is in the late afternoon/early evening as this is when you get the lovely warm light you might see in my images. The exact times vary, of course, depending on the season. You should plan for about 1-2 hours with newborn sessions lasting longer. Most sessions are conducted on location using beautiful, natural light. Newborn sessions are conducted in the comfort of your home. A $70 deposit is required within 5 days of booking your session to hold your spot with the balance due at the session. After the session your portraits will be culled for the absolute best of the best which is usually around 20-25 images. These images will be fully edited, cropped and prepared for presentation. Please understand that unedited images are not shown or provided. Your photos will be ready in 2-3 weeks after the session. We will meet for an in-person viewing and ordering session. All decision-makers need to be present at this time. You will be able to see and touch all the products I offer, ask any questions, and thereby make an informed decision regarding your portrait selection. Long distance clients will be presented with an on-line gallery, private gallery. Your order will be completed within 2-3 weeks. YOUR INVESTMENT

Additional minimum order of $250 is required. The session fee covers a pre-session consultation, shooting time at the location of your choice, custom editing and processing of your photographs resulting in at least 20-25 finished images and an in-person viewing session. Prints and digital files are not included in a session fee, they are sold separately. You can order prints a la carte or choose one of my collections and save. Print prices start at $35 for all prints 8×10 and smaller. Collections start at $470.
