Be grateful for where you are in life so your can appreciate where your going!

One of my biggest challenges as a Business Owner was:

📣 Accepting when I didn’t make sales that day.

📣 Accepting when I had to make refund in order to keep a client.

📣 Accepting that not all my family would cheer me on.

When I finally accepted the above that’s when I truly found grace to accept those things and be grateful for:

You won’t be able to grow your business until you start creating face to face conversations again📣

Some can use social media as their “only” way they grow their business while I can differ!

One of the most controversial topics is how to market your business and while social media is one of the keys that opens the door to business growth and expansion, it’s not the only key 🔑

🔑 I'm heavily into social media. I've covered the space countless times; I post multiple times on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn each day; and, I encourage people to use social nets as a way to do low-cost marketing for their company.

🔑 At the same time, I'm not so enamored by the technology that I think it can completely replace your marketing efforts. It can augment them, sure.

🔑 In some cases, a plain old printed brochure you hand out at a conference or a really slick business card will win you more customers than anything in digital form.

‼️Please keep making those promotional videos and post them on YouTube for the world to see, and let us know about them on Twitter or Instagram, but don't let that become the only marketing you do.

🔑It's too easy to think of the "new" as the "only" when it comes to marketing. I recommend you use the same strategy for IT security as you do for marketing: be open to any strategy and deploy several.

Here are 4 tips on how to prepare for your eyelash extension service:

1. If you wear waterproof mascara, discontinue use 3 days prior to your appointment.

The compounds in these products will remain on the lashes, even after properly cleansing.
This will prevent the extension adhesive from properly bonding and you may experience premature lash loss.

2. Arrive with a freshly clean face and impeccably clean lashes.

Residual oils and makeup remaining on the lashes will only prevent the adhesive from properly bonding.
This point needs to be stressed - do not arrive still wearing eye makeup.
Your lash stylist should not be spending more than a few minutes cleansing and prepping your lashes for the service.
It is a waste of her skill time and a waste of your money.
Less cleaning. More time. More lashes.
It is absolutely acceptable to wear facial and brow makeup. Book your appointment first thing in the morning if you must wear eye makeup for the day.

3. Arrive freshly showered and with clean hair. You won't be able to wet the lashes for the initial 24 hours after application.

A compound found in all lash adhesives, cyanoacrylate, needs humidity to properly cure. TOO MUCH humidity will shock the adhesive and cause premature lash loss.
Showers, steam, saunas, and crying are not permitted for the initial 24-48 hours after application.
(Personal tip: I shower and wash my hair the morning before an appointment and take a bath for the next 2 days.)

4. NO CAFFEINE

Please do not drink any caffeine before your appointment. Drinking caffeine prior to your appointment will make your eyes twitch which makes it difficult to work with. This could cause delay in the lash appreciating.
