Today, we wear purple to stand with survivors. 💜

Observed each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Purple Thursday is a day to show solidarity with survivors of domestic violence, honor their strength, and raise awareness about the realities of abuse.

Purple represents courage, peace, survival, and our collective commitment to ending domestic violence. When we wear purple, we send a message to survivors: We see you. We believe you. You are not alone.

The statistics are a reminder of why this matters. According to the CDC, 34% of women and 17% of men in the U.S. have experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner.

Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a story that deserves to be heard.

Today, the LOVE>hate Project stands with every survivor and everyone working to create a world where love is safe, support is accessible, and abuse has no place.

Wear purple. Start a conversation. Believe survivors. Help break the silence.

Sippie Hippie is our Autumn 2026 business Community Pillar Award Winner!

It's more than a local coffee shop, it's a welcoming gathering space that brings people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds together over great food, drinks, and shared connection.
