We are so GRATEFUL for this brother, LaShawn “DJ Zoom” Lester! THANK YOU, THANK YOU for making our event lively, fun, and relatable for our young men. Every track brought so much emotion delivered exactly what we were trying to accomplish...having fun, while obtaining real life lessons!

Inspired in the late 1980s, by local radio DJs in the Memphis area, LaShawn “DJ Zoom” Lester began deejaying by recording music from the radio and using various mixtapes created by popular deejays to create his own music. After deejaying at several middle and high school events, DJ Zoom officially began his professional career in 2007. Over the years, he continued to perfect his craft, making him one of the most sought after deejays in Memphis and the surrounding areas.

His portfolio includes major local events such as the 40 Under 40 Gala, Mixology, Elixir, AlphaMemphis Tailgate at The Southern Heritage Classic, Memphis in May Bar-B-Que Fest, MBA, and various events for the City of Memphis and the Shelby County Government 2020 WEDDING WIRE COUPLES’ CHOICE AWARD WINNER.

With over ten years’ experience, DJ Zoom specializes in weddings, corporate events, school functions, formal events, and family gatherings. He also offers club and sound services.
