Welcome to Italy! 🍋

When Katt and I began the process of moving her wedding to Italy, we quickly fell in love with Ravello and the Amalfi Coast.
We found the perfect wedding venue- one that was PINK & reminded us of her love for color.
I knew that the rest of the weekend’s events, including our welcome party, would be no different!

We all fell in love wTrattoria da Lorenzoenzo after visiting in September and tasting their food. The Welcome party soon became the event everyone was looking forward to the most!

We were inspired by all of the lemon trees, the pink striped umbrellas, and the incredible view of the Mediterranean Sea. I loved weaving these different elements throughout the event, our paper products, and table details.

One month from today, these two will be exchanging vows in this very spot.
It’s hard to believe that the time has almost come! After all of the logistics and all of the planning, we are ready for them to say I do!

12 years into running my business, it’s crazy to think that I have now planned an international wedding! Euros, VATs, time differences and all 😂
If I knew then what I know now, I would tell that young 20 something girl to keep pushing, keep dreaming and that it would all work out better than she expected!

I can’t wait to share with all of you all that we’ve been planning and all of the fun we have in store. Now that we have accomplished all of our big tasks, it’s time to get EXCITED!
Most of all, we can’t wait to get Katt and Ty married!

“This is who…”
Some of my favorite.. and funniest childhood photos.

Often I’m asked, “So how did you get into wedding planning?”.. or
“When did you know you wanted to be a wedding planner?”.
& the truth is, I’m not really sure.
It’s been a desire for as long as I can remember & one that didn’t come without setbacks.
I’m just really proud of the young woman who pushed back against all of the ”let’s be more practical” thoughts along the way.

Also wishing I had a picture of me as a kid in the hair salon always reading a Brides magazine as she got her haircut. 😂 🤍

Two words to describe Kaya and Austen, would be “easy” and “kind”. Regularly throughout our planning process, Kaya would ask ME if I needed anything, if I was staying hydrated on HER wedding day, and to not feel stressed about any aspect of her wedding.

There’s so many things I could say about this wedding.
The time, intentionality, and details that went into making this day as special as it was, were all worth it.

There were so many sweet moments: from the way Mark felt at ease as soon as he saw his bride and the personal vows they made to each other. The way Mark placed his hand in support of Payten’s dad at the altar, to the home videos that played during Payten’s dance with her dad that left everyone teary. From the sounds of rain that came down on the tent during the reception.. setting the mood for a romantic Fall night. It was all so perfect!

Captured by the immensely talented
I love her photography style so much!

There’s so much I could say about this day.. so much I’ve already said.
But one of my favorite parts was having Jess and her mom walk around the venue spaces with me and look at all of our planning brought to life.
Jessica said something like “This all feels like home. I feel like I’ve been here before and it’s an overwhelming feeling.” I want to remember this moment for a long time- and keep it in mind as I’m designing with my couples. It’s a long game in wedding planning.. but it’s worth it!
