Grass-fed Beef | Pastured Pork | Free-range eggs
Est. 2018 and learning as we go!
Matt Medina and I are sitting here, reflecting on our first fall fest | pumpkin patch weekend. It was truly everything we dreamed of and then some!
We have exhausted feet and happy hearts.
We are so appreciative of everyone who came out and supported us.
Thank you for being patient with us as our 4-year old took your payment and counted back your change.
We are the definition of a family ran and operated business.
Celi is baby wearing, Luke is taking payment / giving change while Matt and Liam run around making sure everything and everyone is properly tended to.
Every single time we had someone drive through our gate, Luke would jump up and exclaim, “my friends are here, they are here to see our farm!”
A huge shout out to our incredible vendors who are taking a leap of faith and walking down this path with us.
Fresh Today Catering & Bakery, thank you for the yummy dishes you created using our grass fed / grass finished beef, pastured pork and pastured lamb - folks seemed to really enjoy it all.
Can’t wait to see you all next weekend! 🎃
Curious about our meats? Fresh Today Catering & Bakery has some delicious options 🤤
We are here until 6pm 🎃
Swing by and say hello!
We have a few vendors out here today!

🍏🍎 Cider-mosas **while supples last**
🍺 What the Dickens?
A mild flavored light brown ale, light on the hops but with crisp, sweet, maltiness. Definitely an “I just mowed the lawn” beer.
Extra Special Bitters
A very crisp and bright beer. Subtle caramel notes, and a gentle, floral, hop aroma and flavor. A fantastic afternoon or warm-day beer.
Come say “hi” and grab a cold one!”

“Hi there! My name is Kate! I’m the owner of Kaitlyn Elaine Photography.
Photography has been my passion since I was about 12 years old. I absolutely love capturing natural moments of love and happiness for families! I believe that family photos should be lighthearted and fun for everyone involved, not something to look back on and remember the chaos that occurred getting there! (Moms- you know what I’m talking about!)
I’m so excited to be able to capture fun pumpkin patch photos for your families at L&L Farmstead this October!”
Kate will be with us the 30th of September, and October 8th, 15th, and 21st!

“Hello everyone!👋 My name is Erica and I’m a mom of 2. I started up Ledo & Ru Creations during a time I lost my first husky R***r who was my person and partner in crime. He left us 2 years ago due to cancer that came up unexpectedly and crafting became my way to help grieve through the process and keeps me moving forward🖤🐾 I then came across a husky not too long after that needed a new home and things just seemed like fate as I wasn’t looking for another dog but something was telling me to bring him home and his name was Ledo. So you can see where my business name came from and I bring all the adorable pet merch and other customizable items for the whole fam🥰🐾”

“My name is Montana owner of Tana Banana co. I am a mom of 4 with a love for making handmade items. I specialize in handmade crochet children items as well as seasonal decor. Snugglers are my favorite thing to make. Unstuffed bodies make it easier for little ones to hold onto and cuddle. Come stop by and see me or check out some of my work on Instagram and Etsy”

“Moonlight & Mermaids offers unique, hand painted terracotta pots with everything from cheeky fairies to pandas. Or maybe a handpainted sign is on your list? Or a fun wooden magnet? Come see what treasures there are in this trove!”

If you know you know…..⚡️🤯
Whether you eat animals or not, animal agriculture is important for restoring environmental and soil health.
The soil on the left is the result of regenerative agricultural practices being implemented and holds significantly more organic and Carbon matter. Sheep and cattle were carefully managed and rotated on the land. They ate the grass, deposited their urine and dung and were then moved away to let the grass grow back quickly.
The cycle is then repeated at a later date depending on season variability and vegetation recovery. This allows the pulling of carbon into the soil. It is darker because carbon from the atmosphere is now in the soil making it more nutrient rich and dense.
The soil on the right is from a commercial farm that grows grain and uses no animals on the land.
The soil with more carbon holds a lot more water (roughly 150,000 liters of water per hectare for every 1% of carbon that’s added) and is full of microbes.
Animals play a crucial role in regenerating the land and getting carbon into the soil when properly managed.
These ‘regenerative’ practices also can be applied to crop management through the careful integration of livestock.
This meat is so tender & delicious, we want everyone to try it and decided to run a special!
$700 ($650 for Farm Members) gets you a whole lamb - including cut and wrap! A whole lamb yields about 60lbs of meat & this will all fit in your fridge freezer! You only need minimal freezer space 🤯
- leg of lamb
- ground lamb
- arm roast
- lamb chops
- rack of lamb
- lamb shank
- stew meat
Someday we will open our own farm to table restaurant where we can serve our meats and fresh produce to the public.
For now, the best we can do is provide you and your family with the best tasting meats for you all to enjoy at home!
DM or email us to reserve your lamb!

L&L Farmstead shared a post on Instagram: "People often ask how we do what we do with 3 littles. Truth is, most of the time our hands are free! When 💩 needs to get done, we get creative and make it happen! . . . We baby wear most of the day! My go-to carrier these days is my carrier! ....
Let’s play a game!
Whatever you do, DO NOT let your kids join 4H and show animals.
Your summer will be spent in the barn. You will have to spend time together and help each other. You’ll have to learn and grow together. The whole family will learn patience. You will sweat, work hard, possibly yell and overcome it all together. There will be no time for movies, Netflix, tv or tablets. You will instead have to spend time talking to each other and working through problems together like facing fears, building confidence, bracing a lamb, clipping a calf, managing a budget and learning about nutrition.
At the end of the summer, you’ll be soo nervous watching your kids show their project. They will learn how to control their nerves in HARD situations and so will you. They will learn how to win humbly and lose graciously. Your kids will make new friends and learn skills to last them a lifetime.
In the end, you’ll all probably be sad. All the hard work you’ve done all summer is OVER. Projects are done and gone to market. You might even cry TOGETHER. Maybe it’s because you’ll miss the animals or maybe because you’ll miss the late nights together in the barn. It might even be because you are beyond proud of what you have accomplished together.
We only get 10 of these summers together in 4H - don’t waste them ❤️ 🍀
