The Berwick Theater and Center for Community Arts (BTCCA) is proud to be working with Spirit Sound and Light, LLC (Mechanicsburg, PA) to provide Berwick Pennsylvania with the best movie viewing and live performance experience in the area. In 2025, Spirit Sound and Light completed work to upgrade the theater’s live performance lighting system by installing industry standard light mounts, rehanging, and recalibrating all the existing lighting. Monday (July 13, 2026), they installed an entirely new set of upgraded amplifiers for our seismic sound system used for live performance and professionally tuned both the seismic and movie surround sound systems. As a result of this work, BTCCA now offers a higher quality, richer surround sound experience that is equivalent to or better than most big chain theaters. BTCCA would like to thank Spirit Sound & Light for the excellent and professional work. We look forward to future projects with them to expand our sound and lighting experience. 🔥 IT'S A HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPOTLIGHT KIND OF DAY!!!

Today we’re shining the light on someone who’s become part of the heartbeat of Spirit Sound and Light. Meet Kevin—though around here, he’s simply Hank. For the past four years, he’s been one of those rare, steady forces you can count on for anything: installing audio and lighting systems, running live events, building cases, and stepping into whatever project needs a calm, capable hand.

Outside of work, Kevin is all about the simple joys—hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Maybe that’s why his favorite events are the ones that get him outdoors; it’s where he feels most at home. He likes to say this line of work “found him,” but honestly, it feels like it found exactly who it needed.

The job throws its fair share of curveballs, and Kevin is often the one finding solutions in the moment, no hesitation. But when you ask him what’s made it all worthwhile, he doesn’t talk about the gear or the venues—he talks about the friendships. The people. The moments that turn coworkers into something closer to family. And that’s why his favorite part of SSL is, without hesitation, the team he gets to work alongside.

And here’s the part we want to say directly: Kevin, thank you!!!! Thank you for the long days, the quick saves, the craftsmanship, the humor, the loyalty, and the heart you bring into this place. Thank you for showing up with the same steady spirit that makes SSL feel like home. We’re grateful for you—more than you know—and we’re proud to have you as part of this family.
