Earlier this week, our team posted a request for community members to share feedback about how our team can strengthen community and campus relations. The post included images and copy supported by AI technology. Our Events team is navigating new ways to engage with the community by leveraging social media and new tools. This post was meant to strengthen ties and not to be divisive. We recognize the importance of representing Allegheny authentically and accurately, and we'll improve our work moving forward. Robertson Athletic Field is starting to look alive today as we prepare for the America 250 celebration on Saturday July 4th! Special thanks to the Crawford County Historical Society for organizing this huge event and allowing us to host it at Allegheny College! This celebration of our nation's birthday will start at noon, and feature a full day of rides, vendors, food trucks, beer garden, and live music, and will wrap up with fireworks over the athletic fields! All are invited! No admission charge!

Also be sure not to miss the parade in downtown Meadville on Friday July 3rd at 7PM!

Allegheny College is excited to announce our First Annual Winter Wonderland Craft Show on December 5 and 6, 2026 from 9 AM to 4 PM. We are currently accepting vendors for this festive holiday event.
This two day craft show will feature:

Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
Face Painting
Food and Seasonal Treats
Holiday Fun for the Entire Community
This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your handmade items, holiday décor, specialty gifts, and unique creations during the season of gifts and giving. Our Winter Wonderland event will bring together shoppers looking to support local vendors and find one of a kind holiday gifts.

The new outdoor Pavilion behind Pelletier Library is a comfortable outdoor space perfect for your summer picnics and social gatherings, and it is now available for external rentals!

We also still have a few limited dates available for 2026 at the picnic shelter at Robertson Athletic Complex, and Ford Chapel!

Allegheny College is ALL IN for Meadville!

The food has been delivered and the boxes are packed! Event Services would like to thank all the members of the Allegheny Community who came together to unload pallets, pack boxes and write notes for local families in need this holiday season! This could not have happened with out all of YOU! 💙💛🐊

Join us this Friday at Diamond Park for our Thanksgiving Food Drive from 1pm to 5pm. We’ll be giving out 200 boxes of traditional Thanksgiving essentials to anyone who needs a little extra support this holiday season.

If you or someone you know could use a hand, please stop by, no registration required. Let’s come together as a community and make sure every table is full this Thanksgiving. 🧡🦃
