Calling all Seniors! I know you haven't even started your senior year but it'll be here before you know it! I remember how exciting this time was and senior photos were just one of the perks! Let's get you on the books and create some long lasting memories. I have multiple packages to choose from! I love making these unique to you! Bring any props you want, pick a location you love, find an outfit (or 2 or ) you feel good in, and lets have some fun! Fall gets booked quick, so message me soon!

Just updated my website! This is your reminder about my client closet! Take a look at what I have and if anything catches your eye for your session coming up let me know! I can either drop it off sometime the week before your session so you can try it on or I can bring a couple to your session to choose from. My client closet page tells you all about how the process works! Check it out and while you’re there you can look at my other work and then you can send a message and book a session! I shoot seniors, families, weddings, maternity! If you have any other milestone or special occasions we can chat and see what we can come up with! Spread the word and share with your friends!

If it's not the Kansas wind, it's the unpredictable Kansas weather/storms! Tonight it was the Smolik extended family's turn to play the betting game with Kansas weather! We changed the session time at least 3 times to try to find a pocket of sunshine/no rain. We changed location 3 times because of the last storm and tonight's rain. But goal accomplished. We shot fast and furious in a tight 30 minute timeframe and got some great updated family photos for them! Thanks Smolik family for hanging in there with me!

We battled the classic Kansas wind and a rambunctious 2 year old tonight! The Holloways did amazing though and we got some gorgeous photos of their new little family of 4! Big brother is smitten with his 2 month old sister and we got some sweet photos of them. Thanks for braving the wind (up on Coronado Heights at that!) with me, Holloway family!

Andrew and I were able to get up to Minnesota and see my cousin and take some engagement photos with him and his fiancé! So fun getting to see some new scenery and hanging out with my cousin I don’t get to see often anymore. Conroy and Ana were great hosts and we loved getting to see their “neck of the woods!” Congrats you guys! And we wish you many years of happiness!

Last month I got to be part of another proposal! With a little planning and communication (and last minute location change - because Kansas City prom night! 😅😬) Peter and I pulled the big surprise off for Allison! Wish you guys the best!

After a couple post-pones the Schrags finally got their family session in! The day may have been a little gloomy and we trudged through some pretty saturated grass but these guys rocked it! River and Kollyns were troopers, even though we didn't a ton of big smiles. :) I love having repeat clients and watching families grow.

The Cox family had a beautiful night for some family photos! I always love extended family sessions because you almost get to see "the big picture." You see the love that was created and relationships that were bonded. I also love doing these because it preserves lifetime memories and legacies. You get to look back and remember, and also show future generations. Kohen is the life of the party if you can't tell. Even if he was somber the whole time. 😄

When I jumped into the world of photography around 2016 I remember June was the month for weddings. A lot of people I knew were getting married in June, and across the U.S. it was the most popular month to get married. Being a teacher, what's what we chose too! But the last several years it has switched to the fall - specifically September/October. So interesting to watch how trends change! The fall is a beautiful time! The colors, the weather, the crisp air! If you're thinking of getting married this fall and are still looking for a photographer hit me up! We can chat about how you envision your big day and all I have to offer!

Part 2 of Christina's senior photos! Last August we walked around Little River and got Christina's first round of photos done and yesterday we explored McPherson some and got to take more gorgeous photos! I love when my seniors bring their personalities and their interests to their sessions! It makes it so fun and unique! Christina loves reading, Taylor Swift, and is going to KU (Rock Chalk!) in the fall! Good luck Christina and all 2025 seniors!

2026 Seniors: If you're having trouble deciding on when to take your photos and what season, I've got a package just for you! It's a two-parter where you can decide whenever you want to do it! We could do this summer and get a lot of summer/green weather and then some beautiful fall colors! Or we could do bold fall colors, then light, airy, fresh photos in the spring! The options are endless! Message me for more details or if you want to book!

I've had multiple people ask about mini sessions recently, and while I don't offer them as an option normally, I decided to open up a date for some mini session slots! These are a great way to get some quality photos quickly, and for less than a full session! Couples, kiddos, immediate families are perfect for these! Mother's Day is also right around the corner! I would have these finished by then! *cough*cough kids and husbands! ;)

This last weekend I got to freeze time with a couple special people and watch a dream come true for them! Reagan asked me a while back if I could document his proposal to Macy up at the Konza and of course I said yes! We've gotten to know these two through the fire department the last several years and it was sweet to be able to take these! Congrats you two! Can't wait for the big day!
