I love a great wedding party! There’s something special about a group that truly shows up for their couple.

The most energetic, joy-filled weddings I’ve been to almost always have one thing in common: a wedding party that understands their role isn’t just to stand at the altar. They’re the hype crew, the dress fluffers, the tissue holders, the dance floor starters and the people who make sure the couple feels loved every step of the day.

When your closest family and friends are fully invested in celebrating you, everyone feels it 💕

Big shout out to this crew! They cheered loudly, laughed often and made sure their couple could soak in every ounce of love. It was such a joy to work alongside them!

I keep noticing the same thing at weddings lately.

The couples who are happiest with their design choices aren't necessarily the ones following every trend. They're the ones finding ways to include pieces of themselves.

This wedding had Pokémon cards as part of the guest book, a LEGO ring box, and a Mario Kart banana toss later in the evening. Small details, but every one of them felt completely natural for this couple.

Maybe that's why I've become such a fan of "nerdy" weddings.

Not themed weddings.

Not cosplay weddings.

Just weddings that make room for the hobbies, stories, and interests that helped bring two people together in the first place.

The more weddings I work, the more I find myself wanting to create a space where couples can see examples of that done well. Beautiful design. Great vendors. A little personality mixed in.

There’s something quietly magical about seeing a wedding cake in person.

The texture. The detail. The way it becomes part of the room before it’s ever sliced.

I’ve had the privilege of standing beside some incredibly talented cake artists while they set up these edible works of art — and let me tell you… they taste just as beautiful as they look.

From delicate florals to textured buttercream to full dessert displays, each one brought its own personality to the celebration.

I’m so grateful to work alongside creatives who care this much about their craft. 💕

This wedding still takes my breath away. The photos are absolutely jaw-dropping, but what made this day truly unforgettable was Heather & Ben themselves—two of the kindest, most joyful people to work with. Coordinating their celebration was such an honor, and I wish them a future overflowing with love and laughter 🤍

And the vendor team? I cannot say enough. I’m not just willing to recommend them again—I’m eager to. Every single creative involved poured their talent and heart into this day, and it shows in every moment captured.
