From school dances as a sophomore to packed college parties and nightclub residencies, he’s been moving crowds for decades.
After launching his mobile DJ company in 1999, DJ Charles quickly became a staple in the Knoxville nightlife scene with residencies at Campus Pub, Charlie Peppers, Long Branch Saloon, Liquid Knoxville, and BAR Knoxville. His ability to read a crowd, blend genres seamlessly, and keep the dance floor packed made him a go-to name for parties that don’t want the night to end.
He’s rocked events for major brands like HGTV, Fox News 12, the Country Music Hall of Fame, US Cellular, and the Southern Ballet Convention — and brought high-energy performances to SEC powerhouses including Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Duke, Florida, and Kentucky, along with schools like the University of the South and Lincoln Memorial University.
