When my bride says she doesn’t want to be seen on her walk to the processional, I’m gonna make it happen!

Big thanks to Tina Waites Deville for assisting me all weekend with the Parkers and for embracing the rain with us!!

Whoever snapped this photo, you’re a gem. 😆💎😘

Yesterday flew by in the blink of an eye. Alyssa and Toby said I do at the most stunning venue surrounded by the most loving and fun individuals they know. Despite the rain that only came on when it was time to walk outside in-between buildings, it was a beautiful day full of sentimental moments, funny videos, and memories that will last lifetimes. It was the highest honor working alongside Alyssa since the end of 2024 and now she walks away a married woman. 🥹

I couldn’t have made everything come together without a slew of precious vendors who worked their tails off making every second count. I want to thank each of you for being the true definition of a team, working together to attempt at making the experience as seamless as possible for our couple. I may be the planner, but I just put the pieces of the puzzle together. Thank you all for being the colors of the picture!!

Another thank you to the friendly hands on deck who took up a role and assisted in making the evening successful!

Chris, officiant
Daniel, Mallory, and Morgan on Polaroids all night- y’all were wonderful and I can’t thank you enough for stepping in and showing out!

It’s a personal pet peeve to hear any vendor act as if by themselves they pulled off the night’s success as I’m one who sometimes has to direct over 15 different vendors, wedding parties of all sizes, as well as coordinate the events with up to hundreds of guests while making as much happen on pace as possible without everything bottoming out. My goal is to make each wedding night a coalition of hard working individuals. THIS is what creates the dream every couple has for their wedding day. Again, thank you for making that possible and for allowing me the space to be “the nicest coordinator you’ve ever met”. You help make my job a dream come true and countless people live off of the high you provide them with each event you work. You guys are the stars of the show no matter how behind the scenes you are.

Lastly, THE WORLD’S GRANDEST OF CONGRATULATIONS to our precious and perfect Mr. and Mrs. Parker on the night you’ve envisioned for so long. Enjoy your honeymoon and know that we are all wishing you blessings, joy, adventure, and this continued growth together. LOVE YOUUUU!!

We’re only a little over 2 weeks into the new year and bookings for spring are filling up FAST!! 💍

Gentle reminder to future brides that you don’t want the officiant to be your last hire. They should be someone you’ve put thought into as you hope they will have the ability to do so for your ceremony script. That 15-30 minutes of your wedding day is THE. MOST. IMPORTANT. If you weren’t there for the ceremony, you’d just be having a reeeeeaallly fancy party. 💃Your officiant is the only way you leave that day saying you’re married with having stopped long enough to enjoy ✨why✨ everyone came together.

Make that vendor a priority and not a last minute find; it’ll be incredibly hard to get married if someone has already booked your date and no one else is available at the last minute. Message me today about getting on my calendar and saving yourself from a future headache! 🤍

The Ingrams.

They are a couple that embodies gratitude, humility, joy, partnership, and honestly, so much more. It amazes me how the few interactions we had together leading up to today forged such beautiful connections. I am incredibly thankful to Eric and Mackenzie for their decision to share today’s ceremony with me. It was genuine and maybe even inspiring. ✨ I know I left there feeling changed. ✨

It was a beautiful day to marry some people!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ingram! 💗

From Jasper, Texas, these two came to say “I do” at the one and only Wildwood Resort-Weddings in Zwolle, Louisiana. 🤍

They were met with beautiful weather, a full audience of excited guests, and an even more engaged group of hired hands to make sure everything went smoothly. What a wonderful couple of evenings we spent together seeing Jacob and Marissa get ready to tie the knot. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have served them and their families and to have the chance to do it alongside some of my favorite friendor-vendors. Until next time, pals. 🫶🏻

Happy forever-after to the precious (and hilarious) Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. 🥰🐟💓

August and September have been full of sentimental, intimate elopements (my personal fave) that I’ve been just as lucky to be available for as the couples needing services.

This one last night in particular was extra special.

Caleb called me on Monday afternoon after some emailing we did in the morning. It started with a “Hey!” To which I could only simply say “Hey!” back to with a chuckle. 😆 The rest is going to be history. 🤍

As many know, I love a good wedding. 😝😉 I love the kind with hand-written vows, weepy couples, and the magical sounds of nature bathing us all in the natural glow of life and love. I don’t do it often in the midst of delivering a ceremony but, last night I couldn’t choke down the tears. Caleb and Emily had vows that pierced the soul. They have a love that truly runs so deep it’s not only evident, it’s tangibly surrounding them. Love is their aura, okay!

I hope the Smiths are reveling in this sacred love as married people today. I also hope that everyday is filled with those moments for them because that is exactly what makes life worth living for.

Congratulations on repeat to Mr. and Mrs. Smith!!! 💖

Saturday, James stepped in to officiate for Hunter and Jordan. It was his first formal wedding as typically he’s an elopement go-to. I was so proud of his ceremony script and the response from the couple was how comfortable he made them feel.

The Higgins requested a spiritual ceremony and James provided, here’s a snippet from the script highlighting those ideas:

It starts with a candle held overhead by the couple. 🕯️

“Why would we want to hold this light above us? One should serve the light of God. The light illuminates the way for us. It’s the symbol that represents the spiritual umbrella over us. You now both hold this light and you both must now maintain the flame’s strength, even on days when you feel weak. The pair of you are the strength you need to find enlightenment. You are now bound as one, no longer two separate minds. There is no longer what is good just for you, but what is good for the marriage and the guiding light above you.”

Remember your partner is the only one going the same direction as you. Keep your eyes on the prize and don’t ever let go of the light or each other. ✨

Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Higgins for sharing such a precious moment in life with us! Wishing you both a beautiful, adventure-filled forever. 🤍
