This weeks Teapot Tuesday is a treasured one to me since it was my Nana's. Nana is yet another woman in my life who made everything from an ordinary afternoon tea with cake to Christmas extra special. Nana always set the table beautifully, had fresh greenery and flowers cut, stocked her pantry with everyone's favorite items, and loved to sit with a cuppa. My Nana, like many women from that time period, took care of and appreciated their things. This teapot has cracks that show how many times Nana repaired it. She wouldn't just toss something if it broke, she would repair it and continue to use it. I'm not sure where she got it, if it was a gift or a treat to herself. But I love having this teapot and think of Nana everytime I use it.

We added a little extra flower to our already sweet heart shaped sugar cubes. Are they cubes if they’re heart shaped? 🤔 sugar heart shapes? Anyway we think they’re pretty and cute!

This weeks teapot Tuesday brings us a sweet treat! This is Hannah’s favorite teapot. We found this at an antique store and knew it would make the perfect addition to our tea parties. Paired with a pink tea cup and saucer to complement the strawberries or we could choose a green set to bring out the leaves and stems. A lovely, bright floral tea would be perfect in this pot!

I found this beautiful backdrop on Pinterest and wanted to make it immediately! I hunted doilies at Goodwill, yard sales, antique stores. I found a multi size pack of embroidery hoops on Amazon, bamboo from Dads house and macrame I made in Costa Rica. I love how it came out and will keep an eye out for more doilies to keep filling it in.
