Just a little over a week until Teatro Grattacielo presents Spontini’s "La Vestale" at John Jay's GWL Theater!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 28th, starting at 6:30 PM EST. Bloodhounds get to watch the opera for FREE! Present your John Jay student ID at the GWL Theater located by the Lynn and Jules Kroll Atrium on October 28th between 5-6pm. Please note, two tickets per ID.

This year, Teatro Grattacielo is reviving the 1954 version of "La Vestale" with the world-renowned opera singer, Maria Callas as its leading lady, as pictured above. Did you know that Callas was a New York native, like many of our Blood hounds? This year, Teatro Grattacielo is celebrating Callas' 100th birthday!
