A century of generosity deserves a celebration to remember!

On December 5, the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving brought together 1,200 people at The Bushnell to mark 100 years—and reveal what's next. The evening included food and entertainment, synchronized toasts across the venue, and a private performance by Leslie Odom Jr.—all honoring a legacy of giving forward.

But after 100 years, they're making some changes. In January 2026, they're becoming the Greater Hartford Gives Foundation—new name, new logo, renewed commitment to the region.

Honored to have partnered with Ferris Events on this milestone. Here's to the next 100 years...and another century of planting seeds in gardens we'll never see. 💚

A little over a year ago, I walked away from the familiar and left a “safe” job to start M Creative Events. It was scary and uncertain, but also exciting and reinvigorating…and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Over the last year I’ve worked on nearly 30 events, met amazing people, and become more connected to the local community. I’ve traveled, I’ve grown, I’ve spent more time with family and friends… and above all, I’ve had the freedom to build something that’s truly mine.

Thank you to everyone who trusted me, hired me, referred me, supported me, or cheered me on—especially Ferris Events who helped me find my footing in this new chapter. I couldn’t have done this without you. 💚

So here’s to taking chances, betting on yourself, and finding joy in the process….and acquiring a cranky, furry coworker along the way.

Our Piece of the Pie’s 50th Anniversary Celebration for — elegant, fun, and full of heart (complete with an OPP ice sculpture).

Generation Power’s Luncheon — creative and conversation-starting, from The Good News Guy to interactive question boards that made guests stop and reflect.

Aurora Foundation’s Luminary Celebration — cocktails, a ca****la, and inspiring stories lighting up The Bushnell.

Full day supporting the Connecticut Manufacturing Innovation Forum!

Governor Ned Lamont kicked things off by introducing Kirti Patel, Connecticut's new Chief Manufacturing Officer, and we partnered with Ferris Events to keep everything running smoothly. The ballroom production by 4AVNow was stunning, but the real showstopper was a massive timeline showcasing CT's manufacturing wins from the 1700s to today — helicopters, nuclear subs, the first moon suit, and even Wiffle Balls. It was an incredible reminder of Connecticut's manufacturing legacy and what's still to come!
