I've forgotten how beautiful golden hour (2 hours before sunset) is!

We missed the wildflowers because of the rain in July so we made up for it with my favorite location! We got lucky because the gorgeous pink and white hydrangeas were in full bloom! Check out how precious these families are! I love photographing kids and I met some of the cutest ones a couple of weekends ago.

As a reminder, I am only booking mini sessions on a pre-selected day. I currently do not have capacity to shoot many weekends. Please stay tune for my September mini sessions.

Thank you to Marinda and Steve for connecting with me to photograph their wedding. The day was filled with sooo much love and laughter. It was such a privilege to witness the outpouring of love everyone had for Marinda and Steve on their special day.

Are you excited for dance competitions to start? I know I am!

I had the best opportunity of a life time to watch my own daughter grow as a Hmong dancer. The dance community is so welcoming and inspiring.

My last wedding was for two of the most wonderful people I've met. I've known Khamseng since our college days and am soo soo happy that he has found the love of his life. I'm equally happy for my new friend, Pakue, who also have found the love her life.

Thank you both for entrusting me to capture your amazing day. It was a hectic day, but like always tell my brides and grooms--everything will fall into place by the end of the night. Love wins.

Just one more wedding and I am going on hiatus for a couple of years. My principal job is definitely taking priority.

Finishing up the last 2/4 events that I have left to photograph this year before I stop taking photos.

I photographed this beautiful retirement party and felt like part of the family just hearing all the heartfelt speeches from everyone near and dear the the two retirees. What was special about this event was a kwv txhiaj that was written specifically for both retirees. It talked about their life growing up and what they had to overcome. It made me tear up and really hit home that our parents are the very definition of resilience.
