Merry & Bright Arrangement

When our designers create each arrangement, they do so with a thoughtful intention — making every piece feel personal and meaningful.

“Merry and bright” means hearts full of joy and spirits shining with happiness. Merry represents cheer, celebration, and light-hearted joy, while bright reflects glowing light, hope, and festive sparkle.

Together, they capture the magic of the season — joyful feelings paired with a radiant holiday glow, like smiling faces lit by twinkling Christmas lights.

Wishing you a season that’s truly merry and bright ❤️✨

Our local Nutcracker Ballet is this weekend- We love this time of year to see all the little ones dressed up and running around and just having Christmas Spirit- This year Marks 40 years -Here is a synopsis of what the Nutcracker Ballet is all about -

Act I: The Christmas Party & The Battle
Christmas Eve: The Stahlbaum family hosts a festive party where young Clara receives a unique Nutcracker doll from her Uncle Drosselmeyer, a magical toymaker.
Magic Begins: After guests leave, Clara sneaks back to play with her beloved Nutcracker; the Christmas tree grows enormous, and the room transforms.
The Battle: The evil Mouse King and his army of mice attack; Drosselmeyer animates the toy soldiers, but they're losing until Clara distracts the Mouse King with her slipper, allowing the Nutcracker (now a Prince) to defeat him.
Act II: The Journey to the Land of Sweets
Snowflakes & Prince: The Nutcracker Prince leads Clara through a magical, snowy forest where the Snow Queen and dancing snowflakes bid them welcome.
Land of Sweets: They arrive at the glorious palace of the Sugar Plum Fairy, who welcomes them with a grand ball.
The Celebration: The Prince and Fairy host dances from various lands (Spanish, Arabian, Chinese, etc.) in Clara's honor.
The Dream Ends: The festivities conclude with a beautiful pas de deux (dance for two) by the Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier; Clara awakens by her Christmas tree, holding her Nutcracker doll, with only a necklace or memory to prove her magical journey was real.

🎶 A Little “Jingle Bells” History from Lawrence Mayer Florist! 🎶

Did you know Jingle Bells has roots in American history? Legend says the song debuted in 1850 in Medford, Massachusetts, written by James Lord Pierpont to celebrate the town’s Thanksgiving sleigh races. Historians note he may have already moved to Savannah by then, but Medford still proudly honors him with a plaque!

Pierpont published the song in 1857 as “One Horse Open Sleigh,” complete with three extra verses telling the story of a young couple who tip their sleigh into a snowdrift. As the tune grew in popularity, it soon became known simply as “Jingle Bells.”

Fun fact: it was one of the earliest songs ever recorded—first in 1889 on an Edison cylinder! While that recording is lost, a second from 1898 still survives today. 🎄✨

And just like this timeless Christmas classic, our holiday floral pieces are designed to bring joy, nostalgia, and sparkle to your season. 🌹✨
