The Lynchburg Amphitheater was built to bring people together, and you don’t always need a ticket to be part of it.

In our first six months, we’ve hosted eight free shows as well as a variety of community events, giving the Lynchburg community opportunities to gather, enjoy live music and experience the riverfront together.

We also loved having the opportunity to bring local and regional artists to our new stage—including Bigfoot County, Local Call, Pete Turpin Band, Tony Camm & the Allstars of Funk, Social Distance Band, and more.

What type of concert-goer are you?
The front-row person who has to be in the pit, or the early bird who has to be in line when the gates first open? Or are you the human setlist, reciting every word to every song? Maybe you're just there for the vibes.

Which one are you? Drop your answer in the comments.

🍻🎉 Cheers to six months. 🎉🍻

Six months of live music. Six months of new memories. Six months of bringing artists, audiences and the community together at Riverfront Park.

We opened our doors with a big goal: to create a place where people could come together and experience live music right here in Lynchburg.

There’s still plenty ahead, as we are just getting started, but we’re proud of what we’ve built so far — and even more grateful for the people who have helped make it happen.

Over the coming weeks prepare to see a variety of posts and photos highlighting the artists, audiences, volunteers, partners and moments that have made our inaugural season what it is.

And to everyone who has walked through our gates:

Thank you for being part of something new in Lynchburg!

Here's to six months down. We’re just getting started.
