First day of school but you have thousands of babies…. The anxiety is real.

We love seeing mom/daughter duos out on the farm. Getting to be a part of a memory they are building is so special.

Can’t wait for more Upicks in 2027!

Take this as your sign to plant cool flowers!

We all loose seedlings but you don’t always have time to correct it! Planting in the fall alleviates so much stress for me because I know I get a second chance! Can I get an amen?!

Check your zone to see if fall planting will work for you and if it does then I promise you won’t regret it. For the most helpful guide to planting hardy annuals check out “Cool Flowers” by Lisa Mason Ziegler- a must have tool in my opinion.

Adds bear spray to cart. 🤣

To be fair we’ve known about her for a while and I just had my head in the clouds high on flowers.😬

Flower sales don’t start in the spring, they start when it’s cold and there isn’t a flower in sight.

This is a concept that took me way too long to understand. Most farmers don’t dream about marketing and sales but it’s the only way to continue doing what we love! Batching my social media content gives me the tools I need to grow my business when crops are asleep.

Do you do this? Comment your fav sales/marketing secrets below! We won’t tell 😜

The farm can just feel like work at times but we want to make sure we are enjoying this land and all the joy it’s brought to our life.

Afternoons like this allow us to slow down and thank God for all he’s blessed us with, both work and play.

We love a hardworking queen! This girl definitely earned her keep this season.

Sad to see her go but ready for more fall planting!

We have some bad news…

Okay not really. But a helpful tip when saving seeds! Unless you are making sure each flower is protected from cross-pollination you will likely get a surprise when you plant those saved seeds the next year!

When in doubt, buy the seeds you need and use seed saving as a fun experiment!
