The leak is contained. The road will remain blocked until all necessary repairs are completed.

There is a gas leak on Merriman at New St. First responders are on scene and gas company personnel are en route. We are advised that there is no danger to the public.

Merriman is closed from Royal to Hebert Woods and access to Merriman from New street (both directions) is closed.
