Beautiful, Elegant & Rustic Wedding & Event Venue!
For 30 years we have lived around the bend from this beautiful old farm. We would go for Sunday rides wishing we could own it and fix it up. Then one day we noticed a little red and white for sale sign hanging on the old tattered fence out front. Well now here we are in our dream home. We began researching the history of the place. It was originally built in 1890 by Middleton Jones, he and his wife had and raised 15 children there. It was a 360 acre pecan farm in an area called Cobbtown back then, now known as Lumber City. We became the 2nd buyers of the property in 2015. We have worked long and hard for two years cleaning up and restoring this beautiful piece of history. And along the way saving every scrap piece of wood, old doors, gates, and any treasures we found to put back into it. The community has been so supportive of us and the restoration. With visitors coming to see the progress every weekend eventually there was advise about opening a Venue up in this area. So here we are! And so happy we listened to all the words of encouragement. We are now up and running with new structures being built and adding beautiful landscaping all the time. We are addicted to this place. We want everyone that comes here to enjoy the natural beauty of the farmhouse sitting just perfectly on a hill with pecan trees surrounding it. And feel the peace that overcomes them as they sit on the porch or walk along the farm. We hope to see many years of weddings and other special occasions that will take place here. We love the experience of meeting families and playing a small part in creating happy memories for them.
