As Amarillo's first take-and-bake business, My Portable Pantry quickly gained popularity, leading to its expansion into catering and providing delicious meals for countless e

vents over the next eight years. After stepping away to focus on family, Teffny's passion for food never wavered. Now living in Lubbock, she's excited to rekindle that passion by relaunching My Portable Pantry, this time focusing exclusively on providing high-quality Take and Bake meals. One of the biggest questions I get every year: How much food do I really need? Here’s a simple cheat sheet I rely on:

Turkey: 1–1.5 lbs per person (closer to 1 lb for boneless, 1.5 lbs if bone-in or you want leftovers)

Stuffing/Dressing: ½–¾ cup per person

Mashed Potatoes: 1 cup per person

Gravy: ¼–½ cup per person (more if you’re team “gravy on everything”)

Veggie Sides: ½ cup per side, per person (choose two and you’re set). I like to have one Orange side and one Green side.

Bread/Rolls: 1–2 per person

Pie: 1 slice per person (but we always make enough for two…)
