Been a busy summer into Fall. Thank you to all our clients.

Had some growing pains from year 4 that taught me a lot but we are wrapping up 2026 and already filling our schedule for 2027.

Diesel costs beat us up and I hope they come back down for 2027.

We are going to update some equipment for 2027. For our annual events, we will be reaching out over the next few weeks to ensure we have the correct dates and you want to continue with your current needs. We greatly appreciate it.

I especially thank Emily Barnes for 3 yrs ago taking a chance on us and allowing us to do her first antique event, I bought a used big tent for my first and we got thru that summer. Fast forward to now and I could not have got started without that first big event. Then the Beallsville event happened and I can’t thank Ken and Jen Darby enough. Again, never imagined when I started that I would be setting up for festivals.

Next year is going to be different though. All year, the biggest challenge is finding people who actually want to work and are reliable. It will continue to be a challenge and paying more doesn’t seem to help. Thank you to Tanja Marie who did a bunch with me, often would not let me leave without her. Then Cayden Mackie finished yr 2 but football got the best of him and made it tough plus the price of diesel to go get him. I would not have survived Fall without Hunter House. I greatly appreciate your reliable effort even doing 40 wide tents with just you and I and never complaining.

We can provide the tent, table, and chairs; let Ivory and Rust provide the elegance. Despite the weather, it was a great weekend for a wedding.

40x80 set up along the Ohio River for an evening wedding. One of the nicest setups we have done. More pics to come. We have done a lot of riverside weddings over the year.

We finished! The boys helped me last night with the 40x80 and Tanja came and helped with the 5 I setup today. The last 2 kicked my butt. All set for the Antique show at Henderson Hall this weekend. 6800 sq feet of antiques, collectibles and booze are available.

Set up 4 tents for Beallsville Heritage/Alumni weekend. End of a long day brought on by myself.

Took my fiance with me because I had all these volunteers that were going to help. They rode around on a side by side with a trailer and watched or set in the shade after the tent was up I guess to make sure it was shady.

Then to lengthen our day, I forgot 2 center poles and had to drive back 90 minutes to get the poles and come back. Can only blame myself as I left poles from a previous job on the trailer and didn’t count.

I want to thank everyone who has booked with us for the 2026 season. We have done our best to fill the void created by the closing of McGuffey Tent. Mr. McGuffey had a huge operation and it is a huge void but we are doing our best.

With that being said, we are already booking weddings for the 2027 summer. I have attached some photos of a recent wedding tent setup for a 40x80 with cathedral sides. This setup looks great for a homestead wedding on your property. So if you want a date reserved, I would not wait.

With that being said, I already have quotes out for several weekends in 2027 plus my annual large events that I pencil in my calendar.

Next year will be our 5th year and with the early bookings, it will allow us to manage inventory and make decisions about future growth so we appreciate it.

Over the winter, we are going to add a dance floor plus some other wedding accessories as we try to add a little elegance and maybe a “fancy”.

With that being said…I am looking for a bride and groom planning a May Wedding in the Local area (Washington County, Noble County, Parkersburg area) where I will offer a full package of everything for a great deal in exchange for some ability to set up early to have time for decorations and the ability to take some photos and videos for future advertising.

Lastly, we will book through October 15 at our current prices; however, after that, there will be a price increase. We have held our prices at the same price for 4 years; however, the replacement price of tables and chairs have exploded and recently the price of new tents have also increased. There will not be an increase in everything but I am looking at rental costs verses replacement costs and how menu times I have to rent a tent to recoup the initial investment.
