Yesterday’s cooking class at Park DuValle Farmers Market & Wellness Center was TOO much fun! We had a beautiful crowd, plenty of laughs, and we got our hands ALLLL in that flour. 😂
We made fresh pasta completely from scratch — no box, no “boil for 8 minutes,” baby! We pulled out the semolina flour, made our dough, worked fresh spinach right into it, rolled it out, cut our own noodles and then everybody got to taste what we made. 🍝💚
And can we talk about my little sous chef?! I said I needed volunteers and baby came READY TO CLOCK IN! Mixing, kneading, rolling, cutting noodles AND helping pass out samples. I might have to put somebody on payroll! 😂😂
But seriously, THANK YOU to everyone who came out, participated, asked questions, tasted the food and supported me. Every time I get an opportunity to teach somebody something I’ve learned in the kitchen, it means more to me than y’all know. ❤️
Thank you Park DuValle Farmers Market & Wellness Center & Park DuValle Community Health Center, Inc. for continuing to give me a space to cook, teach, laugh and connect with our community.
