Are You Asking For Help?

Some couples will have help for every vendor throughout their wedding planning process. Others will opt for help with the families. If you are thinking about asking your family for help on some tasks, there have been times where help from family can be more of a headache than helpful.

Here are a few examples where couples tend to ask for help (other than financially) that may be best to tackle yourself or to hire a vendor for.

READY TO FIND THE ONE? 👩🏻‍💻

Let’s be real! Finding a venue for your wedding can be such a daunting task. You just got engaged but now you’re trying to figure out where to have it and when? While you’re on the haunt here are 4 helpful tips to keep in mind.

1. Understand the cost
2. Know what your priorities are in a venue
3. Calculate the guest count
4. What is your aesthetic?

Did you just say yes to speaking at the wedding?! 🎤

Here are some helpful tips as you prepare and start writing out that speech!

DO's:
1. Keep it short and sweet! 5 min max but 2 min is perfect! Practice timing beforehand.
2. Add well wishes to the couple.
3. You can start by how you met them and how their partner has brought the best out of them, etc…
4. Ask the couple if they have any boundaries.
5. The internet can be your friend, but have someone else review it for feedback.

DON'Ts:
1. Drink too much before the speech.
2. Tell embarrassing stories or roast them.
3. Speak for more than 5 minutes.
4. Start off with “for those of you who don’t know me…”
5. Make it about you, it’s about the couple.
