I haven’t kept up with my page but I’m back now & looking forward to updating this page with my latest work. I also celebrated my 10 year anniversary in March so here’s my thank you post —
To my Cherry On Top Cake family,
WOW. Ten years. What an incredible ride, alhamdullilah. Through the ups and downs (& there have been plenty of both), there have been many constants throughout this journey — my family, my close friends, and YOU. From the first days I launched this business when I had no idea what I was doing, to the incredible growth in 2020 when I found my niche and felt like the sky was the limit, YOU have been there. 💕
As I reflect on the past ten years, I am grateful for the trust you had in me for every event, the relationships I’ve built along the way, and every accomplishment (even little ones!) that you’ve celebrated with me 🧁 I get to see so many of you in person when you pick up your treats, but I also get to see thousands of you right here online too — on Instagram, TikTok, DM’s, and via email. Your support, love, and unwavering belief that Cherry On Top Cake could do big things has been my shining light at the end of the tunnel and a challenge/expectation that I constantly strive to meet. Those 5 am late nights were always worth it to see your reaction when you saw my cake 😍
A decade is a long time. Not many things in the world last that long— the average small business doesn’t usually make it to 5 years 😮 This business followed me through my academic/career/life journey from Reseda to Irvine to DTLA and even Santa Barbara. I’m honored and humbled that you’ve stuck with me all this time, and I promise that this next decade ahead will be even better, InshaAllah. Thank you for the 10 remarkable years of community, friendship, and support. I absolutely couldn’t have done it without YOU 💗
AND as always — thank you to my mom, dad, sister, brother, and amazing friends who help me without any questions asked whenever I need assistance with Cherry On Top Cake. Y’all are truly the day 1’s 🥰
