They are the conductor of our symphony, the one who orchestrates the cacophony of life into a harmonious melody. With their unwavering love and support, they transform the dissonance into a beautiful arrangement of shared moments and cherished memories.

The last time I was in New York was in 2016 - my fresh, college graduate self thought I was coming up to scope out where I’d live, soak up the city how the locals do, and begin to live out some dreams (back then, I was still a news producer).

Just as life goes, I’d come home to Florida, move in with my parents while I sorted out my future in distant cities - and then, I met my now husband.

Dreams changed for the better. I’d figured out news wasn’t even for me, got a job in Florida instead, and before I knew it a little hobby of mine had turned into a full blown career.

Seven years later, I’ve found myself with different dreams and goals, none of which involve living in NYC. I’d never planned on settling down here (does anyone really ~plan~ on that?) but that past dream of mine still has a little spark deep down and coming back here, walking around, no GPS, no real agenda, headphones in, AND getting to photograph couples in love in this inspiring city…
