Hello October!!! One of my favorite things to do in October is to teach our kids how to make pies! I love watching kids learn how to make pie dough. You can see the kids concentration and hard work pay off when their little pies come out the oven. It’s one of the best feelings in the world! Note to self; take more pics of the kids creations at the end even when you’re running out of time 😂

This month is
They say that it’s 80% eating right, 20% exercising that can help us stay healthy. When we started JCU, this was one of the things I was really passionate about. I found my family eating out because of lack of time. We didn’t eat much veggies. Our classes help kids make delicious and healthy meals when you don’t have time. Learning how to make meals is one of the first steps you can take to help your kids stay healthy! We’ll continue to give you tips and help educate you to get there!

This picture was taken in the beginning of our journey during our launch party. I had no clue how it would turn out but I had one goal in mind and that was to reach our community. Of course the event was a hit with the help of some friends and my family.

As of today, we’ve been able to teach thousands of kids and it is the funnest, most fulfilling job. It never gets boring.

We continue to offer small group classes, Covid style, 6 feet apart, individual cooking stations, masks on and health screenings prior to starting class.

We take your kids health seriously and want to offer them a place to still get creative and learn how to be self sufficient kids!

For those who are looking for an online platform, we will be hosting FREE virtual classes soon and by popular demand, we worked hard to make cooking kits available for purchase on our website now

DM us for more info.

I’m super honored and grateful! I can’t wait! Tune in on FB live to listen Monday, Sept 21st 8:30 am PST! It’ll be entertaining and you’ll definitely learn a couple things!

When you own a business, there’s nothing more motivating than seeing your business thrive- but then Covid happened and here we are in the midst of a pandemic waiting for things to get back to normal. Needless to say business has been slow. I totally struggled with staying motivated in the early stages of this pandemic but I was able to overcome my struggle by doing these 3 things.
1. I reminded myself daily why I do what I do. I love not only being around kids but seeing their bright happy faces when they know they’re about to learn something fun.
2. I got creative with the ways I taught to follow my vision. We started doing virtual classes (which will be back soon I promise!)
3. I found another outlet to keep myself busy that’s related to my passion- writing a kids cookbook! (I still have a ways to go, but I’ll let you know once it’s out)

When things get back to normal and they will very soon. Me and my team will be ready to get back to doing what we love and helping our community one ingredient at a time!
