My name is Chris Monfiletto and I am a "Gregarious Geek!"
Everywhere I go, I enjoy meeting and making new friends. I have been attending conventions since 2003 and I fabricated my first costume to compete in 2007. I enjoy constructing creative costumes, cosplays, props, and replicas. With every personal project, I try to always outdo myself by learning and applying new skills. I am proud to say that I helped build this mascot for Wonderful Pistachios! Special thanks to for bringing me onto this project! It was a lot of fun working along side professional costume makers from the movie industry.

I had a commission job to make a Team Rocket Pokestop from Pokemon. It stands at over 6'4" tall. My good friend and his crew will be using this at this weekend at Anime Expo. I made a reaction video and his excitement made my day!

If you haven't played I highly recommend it. The game is like a dark humor Animal Crossing. It is a great couch co-op where you can go on missions and build up your town and cult. These are two of the characters you can play. I bought the plushies for Valentine's Day and decided to make them a backdrop that I can hang on the wall

This isn’t my normal costume and props post, but I wanted to share a computer chair I reupholstered using some techniques I learned from making costumes. I used tinfoil and tape to mask off the cushions to then trace and cut patterns into the new fabric I will be using. I had some extra short white fur fabric, that I had left over from my Chip and Dale costumes, and decided to use it, since it was just laying around. After sewing the edges and seams, I glued the fabric on with upholstery spray glue and barge cement. I am happy with the results and it will save me from buying a new chair for a few more years.
