Lately, there’s been a heaviness in our community—especially here in California, in Los Angeles—with the heartbreaking and unsettling raids and enforcement actions. As a woman-owned, Filipino-American business, this hits close to home, literally my parent's backyard. I was born and raised in LA, and my parents still live this sanctuary city, right in the heart of it.
