FIXVTIØN Mix Series 002 — Materielle

FIXVTIØN Mix Series returns after a short hiatus to remind us of the things we’re grateful for: community, connection, and the artists who continue to push techno forward. For Episode 002, we’re proud to feature Los Angeles powerhouse Materielle.

Materielle is a LA-based techno artist weaving synth-driven basslines, hypnotic textures, and Detroit-inspired rhythms. With releases on Northern Parallels, Split Checks, and Hddn Symbls, her sound is both raw and refined, carrying the spirit of the underground while carving her own unmistakable lane.

Beyond the studio, she runs her own event series Materialism, and has played for pillars of the LA scene including 6AM, Dirty Epic, Re/Form, and Compound. Her three-deck blends and intentional curation make her a vital voice in American techno and a dedicated builder of community around it.

Dial into a set that captures the intensity of the underground while honoring the connections that keep our scene alive.

FIXVTIØN Mix Series 001 — Headless Horseman

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to give back to the community that shaped me. What it means to create something for the culture, not just within it. I wanted to contribute in a different way this time. Something that lives beyond the party. Something that holds space for the artists who’ve impacted me on a deeper level. That’s how the FIXVTIØN mix series came to life. And I couldn’t think of a more meaningful way to start than with Headless Horseman.

His music has been a constant force in my life for years. Guiding me, influencing my sound, expanding my understanding of what Techno can feel like. From the first time I experienced his work, it left an imprint on me that’s never faded. To have him as the debut of this project is surreal. It’s full circle. It’s an honor.

With that being said, I’m excited to unveil the first installment of FIXVTIØN’s mix series. A new platform dedicated to pushing forward-thinking Techno and resisting the oversaturation of formulaic sounds.

After a much needed hiatus, FIXVTIØN returns on September 22nd to celebrate their anniversary with the next installment of Date of Manufacture, [ DOM III]. As is customary, we've curated a hybrid line up with some of the most lucrative and up and coming names in the Hypnotic and Hard Techno underground.
