As many are aware,600 thousand dollars of the agreement with Ky American Water was to be utilized within the Water system within Livingston to upgrade and restructure past mistakes made into the system.The neglect and lack of maintainace in the past had provided many issues. This has now produced new structure for our town, Water hydrants that are actually functionable,replaced lines, valves,completed extensive repairs to the Water tank, relocated lines that had been by passed, eliminated " shortcuts" within the system and replaced old and dangerous lines that were unhealthy and damaged. With several other issues to repair,replace and correct. When negotiating the agreement with K.A.W the idea of getting a decent system into place and upgrading the infrastructure of our town was certainly a huge factor in the decision to accept the agreement.We believe our decision was one of the best decisions made for Livingston in many years. KY American Water has most definitely provided everything they agreed upon and still remain almost every day continuing to help us build back our town,for that we are greatful and are proud of our relationship with American Water and the crews that have worked so diligently to provide us with clean and safe water,and a system that readily provides it.
