It’s always exciting to design and build something that brings people joy. Pulse Studio was thrilled to partner with the Jack Morton Worldwide events team to design and fabricate a photo op for a traveling Chevy activation, which debuted at a country music festival.

Our creative team explored several concepts, and the JMW team gravitated toward the one you'll see in the photos. The design was inspired by the hardworking legacy of Chevy trucks and the spirit of American country music. We chose rough-hewn wood with a modern twist—aiming for a rugged, weathered look reminiscent of a split rail fence, but with a refined edge.

After experimenting with different stains, we discovered that “torching” the wood created a striking finish that everyone loved. The result is both authentic and visually compelling.

The Jack Morton team shared their photos of the swing in action at the event, and it’s always a thrill for us to see our work being enjoyed in the real world.

We're proud to share that Pulse Studio had the opportunity to donate our time and creativity to help bring Lisle’s Hokusai Experiential Walk to life—an engaging outdoor installation inspired by the legendary Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai.

This collaboration with the , , and the was created to connect the community with the Hokusai exhibit at the College of DuPage's Cleve Carney Museum of Art. Together, we designed an immersive path that celebrates Hokusai’s legacy while highlighting his influence and connection to our local area.

One of our favorite elements? The colored lighting woven into the design—transforming the experience after dark into something magical.
We invite you to explore downtown Lisle: enjoy the local restaurants and shops, then take a nighttime stroll down the Hokusai walk to learn, reflect, and be inspired.

Pulse Studio has been busy but finally had a moment to reflect on the Chicago XR Summit. We put together some pics from our space at the event. Thanks to everyone that stopped by to introduce themselves and tried our virtual reality military equipment training or VR Basketball or Football modules.
